1. Chiddushei HaRitba on masechet Nidda. Vienna 1868. Published as a manuscript by Rav Yitzhak Halberstam, a talmid chacham, banker, and author of Si’ach Yitzhak. Resident of Krakow and in-law of Rabbi Shimon Sofer, Av Beit Din of Krakow. 2. Beit Natan, changes in wordings of Masechet Brachot “according to an ancient manuscript on parchment that was brought to me from Egypt,” and these wordings explain many of the questions that posed difficulties for the greatest of commentators. Vienna 1854. By Rav Nahman NAtan Kornil (1810-1890), a talmid chacham, shadar, researcher, and author. Father-in-law of Rabbi Yehoshua Zvi Michal Shapira. Because of this book he received a badge of honor from Emperor of Austria, Franz Joseph, for its “wisdom and work of thought.” Stamps and signatures of ownership in Mizrahi and Ashkenazi handwriting. Inside the book is an Ottoman receipt from the beginning of the 20th century, and on the back of the receipt are chiddushei torah handwritten. Binding and cutting of pages in red ink. Moth marks. 57; 55 page. 24cm. Generally good to very good condition.
