HaYom Yom – Or Zarua Calendar for Chabad Chassidim, in pocket format, which was edited by the Rebbe. The calendar was divided into the days of the year, with the daily portion of study for that day appearing in each day, as well as a Chassidic saying from the teachings of the Rebbe Rayatz. | On 20 Kislev 5703 [1943], the Rebbe Rayatz turned to his son-in-law, the Rebbe, and asked him “To arrange a calendar beginning on 19 Kislev until the following 19 Kislev”. In letters from that period the Rebbe apologizes for the delay in his replies due to his “great preoccupation with the arrangement of the calendar for Chabad Chassidim which is currently being published”. The booklet was published before 11 Nissan. The calendar, which is built in the form of a calendar, begins on 19 Kislev – the new year for Chassidut. The calendar begins with an introduction from the Rebbe, followed by an excerpt from the Rayatz’s letters about redemption. | Soft binding. | [10], 118 pages. 14 cm. | Overall condition: Very good.
