An excerpt [the bottom right part] of a letter from Rabbi Baruch Ber. Written entirely in his handwriting and with his signature. On squared letter paper. In the surviving excerpt are: blessings (pleasure and -happiness, all success and happiness), date, the place of writing and signature. Rabbi Baruch Ber Leibowitz [1870-1939], Rosh Yeshiva of the Knesset Beit Yitzchak Yeshiva in Kaminetz. The foremost student of Rabbi Chaim of Brisk, and one of the greatest Torah teachers of his generation. He wrote the series of books ‘Birkat Shmuel’ which are one of the basic books for understanding the approach of study in yeshivot. 10×13 cm. Folds and tears. Rare. Overall condition: Fair.
