With the inscription “This Gemara belongs to the Rabbi who is famous in Torah”, and several ownership signatures in Latin script and Hebrew. Among them several signatures “Akiva Eiger” and the Latin stamp Eger I.L. We know of books which belonged to Rabbi Akiva Eiger with an identical stamp. Tractates Yevamot, Ketubot and Kiddushin. Each tractate has a separate title page, printed in red and black ink. In the center of the title page is an illustrated symbol. Bound in a leather-covered wooden binding, original and magnificent, with remnants of buckles. Thick leaves. Wide margins. Ownership stamps.
