Sefer HaOhel L’Olam. First and Single Edition. Frankurt, 1714. By Rabbi Akiva Lehren, Dayan in Frankfurt am Main and grandson of Rabbi Akiva Frankfurter. | On the first page are ownership inscriptions, including: “And Avraham sat at the entrance of the tent…the small one Avraham Zwebner”. And “This book belongs to my father master and teacher…Rabbi Avraham… Rabbi of the congregation of Czeszte …”. | Rabbi Avraham Shag-Zwebner [1801-1876], appointed as Rabbi of Czeszte at the age of 25 and later as Rabbi of Kobelsdorf. One of the primary disciples of the Chatam Sofer who said about him that “There is no Torah scholar of his caliber in the twenty miles around Pressburg, and there is no Tzadik of his caliber – in the entire country”. At the age of 72, he immigrated to Israel together with his family and settled in Jerusalem. His student, Rabbi Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld, who was a young Torah scholar at the time immigrated together with him. He was said to have had Ruach HaKodesh. | Ownership inscriptions and stamps.
