Sefer ‘Eliya Mizrachi’ – on the Torah, part one, with the commentaries of the Maharal and the Ba’al HaLevushim. Mihalovitch [Slovakia], 1938. With an approbation from the Rebbe Rabbi Avraham Shalom Halberstam, the first Rebbe of Stropkov. The copy is stamped several times with the stamps of two of his grandsons: “David Halberstam Av Beit Din of Dabrowa and the environs (Slovakia)” son of Rabbi Menachem Mendel Halberstam the second Rebbe of Stropkov. (Stamps in Hebrew and Latin letters). And additional stamps of “Yechezkel Shraga Lifshitz Halberstam of Stropkov”, the third Rebbe of Stropkov. It seems that after Rabbi David of Dabrowa was murdered in the Holocaust his cousin the Rebbe of Stropkov inherited the book. | Magnificent semi-leather binding. Partially detached spine. Moth signs.
