Lot 257:
A book of our teachers the Tosefists, on the Torah. Warsaw, 1890. With a long dedication [11 lines] from Rabbi Yekutiel Yehuda Greenwald, [1884-1934], Rabbi of the congregation of Jara and author of the book ‘Zikaron Av’. He did not live a long life, and underwent terrible suffering, which he accepted with love. Even when he was sick he continued to teach Torah and bring Jews close to their God in Heaven. Son of the author of the ‘Arugot HaBosem’, one of the foremost Hungarian Rabbis, teacher of many of the great Hungarian Rabbis. [1], 52, 2-48, 25, 29, 26 leaves. 23 cm. Ownership inscriptions and stamps. Overall condition: Very good.
