Sefer Be’er Avraham, single and rare edition. Commentary on the Tikkunei HaZohar by Rabbi Avraham Avli of Drohobych, a disciple of the Chozeh of Lublin. With approbations from the great Chassidic masters. Lemberg, 1868. The author was a hidden tzadik who taught children and studied Kabbalah and Tikkun Neshamot at night. At the end of his life the “Chozeh of Lublin” revealed to his students “That there is a righteous man whose name is Rabbi Avli who can save those in need of salvation”. In his approbation, the Rebbe the “Divrei Yechezkel” of Shinowa writes that since then he was known for his miraculous deeds…after his death his work on Kabbalah was brought before Rabbi Zvi Hirsch of Zidichov and the author of the ‘Yismach Moshe’ of Ujhely… and they greatly praised the glory and sanctity of the book…and they gave their approbation. Due to the censor’s restrictions it was impossible to print the book for several decades, until the book before us was printed. On the title page, the binding and the leaf before the title page is the personal stamp of the author of Shomer Emunim “Aharon Roth of Satmar, dwells here in the Holy City of Jerusalem”. The bibliographer N. Ben Menachem wrote about the rarity of this book in his book “B’Shaarei Sefer” pages 67-70 (Stefansky Chassidut no. 71). [4], 56 leaves. 25 cm. Moth damage. Stains. Original binding. Rabbi Aharon Roth, 1894-1947. In his youth he studied in the yeshivot of Munkacs and Weiweitzn, and spent time in the courts of various Rebbes. He also spent time in the court of Rabbi Yisrael Hager of Vizhnitz, a period which made a great impression upon him. He founded the “Shomrei Emunim” group, which continues in his footsteps in Jerusalem to this very day in the “Shomrei Emunim”, “Toldot Aharon” and “Toldot Avraham Yitzchak” chassiduyot. His many books: “Taharat HaKodesh”, “Shulchan HaTahor”, “Shomer Emunim”, “Mevakesh Emunah” and more were published in many editions. He served God with great self-sacrifice throughout his life with fasts and suffering. Many miracle stories are told about him.
