A set of 13 volumes of the Bible. With the commentary of Rashi and a translation in German in Hebrew letters, along with an integrated commentary and a foreword. Each of the volumes of this edition have a title page with an illustration connected to one of the books in the volume. At the beginning of the book of Tehillim, a printed dedication with a poem “In honor of the glorious…David Friedlander from his servant…Yoel Bril”. Thick blueish-greenish paper. Original leather bindings with embossing in Hebrew and German. Red page cuts. Anton Schmidt printing press. 21 cm. Overall condition: Good-very good.
