Buyer's premium:

A poster about a prayer led by the cantor Moshe Koussevitzky, in the “Ohel Shem” hall in Tel Aviv, accompanied by the choir of the Beit El synagogue of Brooklyn conducted by Mr. Ben Friedman, Shabbat Rosh Chodesh Iyar, Tel Aviv, 1962. Moshe Koussevitzky (1899-1966) was considered one of the greatest cantors in Ashkenazi cantorial music in the 20th century. It should be noted that Koussevitzky as a prayer leader was significantly different than Koussevitzky as a concert performer. When leading the congregation in prayer he “poured out his soul” before his Creator, and prayed with great feeling and intent. On concert stages, he emphasized the virtuoso aspect and his vocal abilities. Size: 50/70 cm. Folding marks, slight stains. Very good overall condition.
