Lot 168:
A print of a letter of greeting and confirmation of receipt of the sum of 10 R.C. Dated Kislev 5643 [1883]. To the philanthropist Yechiel Wolf. At the top of the leaf is a woodcutting of Rachel’s Tomb, with blessings on either side. Underneath is printed the standard wording of thanks and blessings, as well as the causes for which the money was donated. The donor’s name, the sum and the date were filled out by hand. In the letter’s margins are the signatures of the Rabbis who are responsible for the Kollel and two of the Kollel’s stamps. 17×21 cm. Folds and tiny tears in the margins. Overall condition: Good-very good.
