Answer to a question from a Jew of Cairo on the issue of synagogues in Egypt that were closed without worshippers, whether they could be sold and whether the sifrei torah and holy items needed to be redeemed. 2 pages written on official letterhead from when he served as Rishon LeZiyyon and Chief Rabbi of Israel. With erasures and notes in the margins, all by hand. Excellent condition.
