Pretty and handsome facsimile of the Washington haggadah written and illustrated by the sofer and artist Yoel ben Shimon in 1478. It was written on parchment and is filled with golden illustrations. The facsimile has filled in pages with color and special gilding. The copy is numbered 368 out of 550 copies. Inside the wonderful case with the book is an explanation in English regarding this haggadah. The haggadah was given to the Library of Congress in 1916 as part of the Dynard III collection, and is today displayed in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
