Lot 206:
Decorated with embossing work, hammering, cutting, and enamel. At the top are a pair of lions holding a miniature crown, on it is an eagle. The tablets are a door that opens to a miniature ark, inside of which is a silver Torah. At the bottom is a window for moadim. On both sides are two columns (Yachin and Boaz). Around the breastplate are decorations of plants and flowers. Breastplates of this type were made by immigrants from Europe to the USA who created them with motifs that combined European and American styles. Height: 35cm. Weight: 966g. Light knocks, generally very good condition.
