Lot 111:
Used in the Brody synagogue, decorated with engraving work, writing in Gothic lettering “Yom Teruah” and “for the great synagogue of Brody.” The Gothic lettering was used in western Europe from the middle of the 12th century until the middle of the 20th. The word “Gothic” comes Italy in the Renaissance. The other side has an engraving of the tokeah. Plants and flowers. Length: 38cm. Light break. Generally good condition. Origin: Private collection.
