Written on white parchment, a large animal. The writing seems to be from Afghanistan or Iran around 100-150 years ago. Height: 40cm, 42 lines per column, height of the case: 88cm. Diameter: 27cm. Given in a quality, especially heavy wooden case from a later period, decorated with embossing of silver and an inscription, in the upper section: “this case and the sefer torah housed within it are in memory of Ziva bat Avraham of Radian ben Mordechai, Tu Bishvat.” Lower portion: “on the condition that any place where the owners will wish to take it out and place it in different locations, the permission is theirs.” Colorful handwritten dedication on the interior on paper, “Haviva bat Ziva bat Avraham of Radian ben Mordechai.” Generally good condition, not sold as kosher!
