He lived 1886-1976, and was Israel’s second chief rabbi, and the third of Tel Aviv, and was a leader of the Mizrahi movement. The letter is on official letterhead of the rabbi when he served as Rabbi of Liverpool (UK). It is addressed to Rav Aryeh Leib Yucht, the “Mishnat Aryeh.” He mentions Chief Rabbi of Israel Yitzhak HaLevi Herzog in the letter. Written on both sides, signs of folding, stains, generally good condition.
