Rabbi Shimon Englander (1874-1950), a descendent of Rabbi Naftali Katz, the “Smichat Khachamim,” who moved to Israel in 1933 from Nowy Targ in Galicia. Famous for his exegesis Sha’ar Shimon, on the kabbalistic text Brit Kehunat Olam. 1. Kol HaRamaz, commentary on Midrash Tanchuma and Targum Yonatan, by Rabbi Mordechai Ze’ev Rosenthal—Warsaw 1904. 2.
