Rabbi Shimon Englander (1874-1950), a descendent of Rabbi Naftali Katz, the “Smichat Khachamim,” who moved to Israel in 1933 from Nowy Targ in Galicia. Famous for his exegesis Sha’ar Shimon, on the kabbalistic text Brit Kehunat Olam. 1. Rafdonei b’Tapuchim—Padgoriza 1896. By Rabbi Elyakim Gatzm Av Beit Din of Hildsheim and author of Even HaShoham. Signature of ownership of Rav Englander. 2. Sha’arei Orah—Warsaw 1883, by Rabbi Yosef of Giktilia, a kabbalist from Castilia, Spain. Signature of ownership of Rav Englander. 3. Ner Yisrael—Pietrekov 1914. Three ancient texts on the Zohar with exegesis of Rabbi Yisrael HaMaggid of Kozhnitz. In the book are important notes from the kabbalist Rabbi Shimon Englander. Various conditions, not bound, wear, generally ok to good condition.
