Composed by Rabbi Yitzhak Isaac HaLevi Epstein, rabbi of Humyl, an important Chabad thinker of his generation. A separate cover page before each book of the chumash. Second section bound together with the book Avodat HaLevi on Deuteronomy and haftaroth by Rabbi Aharon HaLevi, author of: Sha’ar HaYechud v’HaEmunah and Sha’ar HaAvodah, a great student of Rabbi Schneor Zalman Maladi, the Ba’al HaTanya. Warsaw 1866. Moth damage, moisture stains, pages disconnected, damage in the binding, generally good condition.
