Lot 324:
4 page letter, 16x20cm, folded in two, by Rabbi Yisrael Natan Plotzky, teacher in Ostrov, son of the Gaon Rabbi Meir Dan Plotzky, the Kli Chemda. Letter addressed to Rabbi Yaakov Moshe Harlap, rabbi of the Sha’arei Chesed neighborhood and the head of the Merkaz HaRav yeshiva. The letter has a recommendation for a talmid chacham who is immigrating to Israel, and notes of divrei torah, signed at the end, “Yisrael Natan ben Cyril—the Gaon Plotzky.” Rabbi Avraham Yitzhak HaKohen Kook (who is mentioned in the letter) and the Rav Harlap had a deep friendship with the Kli Chemda and his sons.
