Tikkunei Zohar with commentary by Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Shapira, the “Darchei Tshuva,” of Munkatch. First and second sections printed in Munkatch between 1903-9 respectively. The copy before us is signed on the first page of the first section with the signature of the kabbalist Rabbi Shimon Englander (1874-1950),a descendent of Rabbi Naftali Katz, the “Smichat Khachamim,” who moved to Israel in 1933 from Nowy Targ in Galicia. Famous for his exegesis Sha’ar Shimon, on the kabbalistic text Brit Kehunat Olam. Second section without binding, first section has disconnected binding, signs of water and a few pages disconnected, generally good condition.
