Lot 235:
Sections 1 and 2 on the Torah according to chassidut by Rabbi Meir HaLevi Horwitz of Dzikov (1819-1877), section 2 has printed accidentally “section 1,” second edition from Yaroslav 1907. At the end of section 1 is an important gloss in the handwriting of the kabbalist, Rabbi Shimon Englander (1874-1950) from Haifa, a descendent of Rabbi Naftali Katz, the “Smichat Khachamim,” who moved to Israel in 1933 from Nowy Targ in Galicia. Famous for his exegesis Sha’ar Shimon, on the kabbalistic text Brit Kehunat Olam. Pages disconnected, moth damage and water stains, generally ok condition.
