Important Judaica. Miniature Aron Kodesh, Israel, end of the 20th century. Carved wood, decorated with crowns, the tablets, Shiviti. The upper doors are decorated with carved menorahs. In the lower portion the doors are carved with the 7 species. 2 columns in the middle. Aronot Kodesh of this type were used by Admorim or for journeys. Inside the Aron is more carving. Height: 60cm, width: 38cm, depth: 20cm. The interior upper portion: 20x25cm. Lower portion: 20x14cm. Seems to be from Israel, end of the 20th century. Generally very good condition, the item was brought to sale from a private collection.
