Green ceramic plate for pesach, in the upper portion is Joint engraved, as well as writing from a religious survivor of the Shoah “from slavery to freedom in this year in Jerusalem” and engravings of slavery in Egypt. Stamped on the reverse “creation of a survivor from Germany.” These plates were created by the Joint Committee, to be given out in DP camps in Germany. Diameter: 25cm. Defects, generally good condition. The item was brought to sale from a private collection.
