Letter and testimony that “the woman Tema mother of the virgin Zelda” may marry the man under the Chupa. The testimony is signed and stamped by the Rabbi because the woman does not know how to write. 8 x 18cm. In good condition. Rabbi Moshe Shmuel was the son of the sage Rabbi Arieh Leib from Kovna, known as Rabbi Leibl Kovner), Rabbi of Kovna and first Head of it’s Beit Din. His sons were well known rabbis. (Uncle of Rabbi Moshe Shmuel Shapiro Z”L, Head of the Beer Yaacov Yeshiva on his name).
