An archive of personal letters of Rabbi Abraham Kelmanovich Z”L. 5 long letters in his blessed handwriting and signature, 3 of them on personal letterhead. Rabbi Abraham Kelmanovich Z”L, President of the Mir Yeshiva, among the heads of the Vaad Hatzala of Agudat Harabanim Beartzot Habrit, and Head of the Mir Yeshiva in the USA. Born in 1890 in the village of Deliatich to Rabbi Aaron Arieh Leib Kelmanovich. He studied in Eishyshok and at the Slabodka Yeshiva and Telz Yeshiva. In the year 5673- 1913, at the age of 22, became rabbi of Rakov. In the year 5682 – 1921 became President of the Mir Yeshiva. In 5689 -1929 became rabbi of Tikotin. Was active in the Haredi community of Poland and was close to the Hafetz Haim and Rabbi Haim Ozer Grodzinski.
