He was the Ra’avad of Sana’a in southern Yemen, 19th century, one of his well-known compositions. “Pri Tzaddik” on halachot of shechita, “Pardes rimonim im Pri Magadim,” and more. Before us his composition on mitzvoth of the holidays: sukkot, channukah, Purim, etc. The copier is Rabbi Yosef ben Sa’adiya Greidi, a sage and author who lived in Damar (Yemen) in the 19th century (Encyclopedia of Sages of Yemen, section 1, pages 73-282), at the beginning of the copy he has an introduction and poem in honor of the author. At the end he includes a lesson on the mikveh. Includes an illustration. [4] 132 page. [2]. In original leather binding, moth damage (light) in the margins. Generally good condition. 17.5x12cm. Yemen.
