Auction 10
Lot 91:
Answers by the Rav, questions and answers by Rabbi Yitzhak bar Sheshet, the Ribash. Signature of ownership. Notes by hand. The book was printed in pamphlets and divided to those who bought them on shabboses in the synagogue, as was the custom in Kushta at that time. Halakhic discussion arose amongst the Rabbis of Kushta who opposed this practice. See: Avraham Ya’ari, the Hebrew printer in Kushta, Jerusalem 1967, p. 103, #145. Before us is a copy including the index pamphlets that came at the front of the book after the cover. (there are copies in which the cover is bound after the indices). New binding, moth marks and pages are restored, mainly the first and last pages, stains from moisture, generally ok condition.
