Handwritten and signed letter on sale of chametz. Lived 1920-2001, was rabbi of the “Mechazkei Dat” community in Antwerp for around 50 years. Born in Weinitz in Galicia, son of the Marah D’Atrah, HaRav Avraham Yosef Kreutzwurt. In his youth studiedin the Khochmei Lublin yeshiva, and was known as the “Iluyi of Krakow.” In 1941 he moved to Israel. Married to Sarah, daughter of the Rav Avraham Grodzinsky, the mashgiach of the Slobodka yeshiva. For many years he lived in Jerusalem. He studied at the L’Torat Eretz Yisrael beit midrash in Petah Tikva. After the establishment of the State he immigrated to the United States and served as head of the head of the Beit Midrash L’Torah yeshiva in Chicago. Among his students: Rav Dov Berel Wein, who also received smicha from him. Died in Antwerp in 2001, brought for burial in Har HaMenuchot in Jerusalem. Page. 7 lines written and signed.
