Recommendation letter printed “for a temporary committee to save the Talmud Torah Shomrei HaKhumot in Jerusalem, which is teaching around 300 students…the situation of the rabbis teaching is awful, and they are at risk of hunger…and thus we approach the parents for a donation…” signed and stamped by Rabbi Eliezer Yehuda Finkel and Rabbi Zelig Reuven Bengis. Historic document. Size: 20x28cm, signs of folding and tears with light damage to text. Generally good condition.
