Rabbi Yaakov Zvi Meklenburg was a German rabbi of the 19th century, famous for his composition on the Torah, the “Katav v’haKabbalah,” the first in a series of books that were published during his lifetime by various Orthodox rabbis in the attempt to prevent the spread of Reform Judaism. Book has glosses and corrections in his holy handwriting. Bound together with mishnayot Zra’im, Vienna 1806. With stamp at the end of the book. Binding a little defective, wear, stains from moisture, generally ok to good condition.
