Questions and answers and drashot, by Rabbi Chaim Ze’ec Wolf of Jerusalem. 1872. Only edition. Many endorsements from sages of his generation: the Malbim, Rabbi Eliyahu Gutmacher, Rabbi Betzalel HaKohen of Vilna, and more. Printing was completed on Lag B’Omer 1873. The endorsements page was printed in 1874, and added to only some of the books, this copy has it. 2 cover pages, thick paper. With stamp of Rabbi Azriel Hildsteimer, who was a rav and mechanech, a representative of the Orthodox German community, founder and head of the Beit Midrash L’Rabanim in Berlin. Worked together with Rav Shimshon Refael Hirsch in the struggle against the Reform movement. Binding and pages are disconnected, moth damage, generally ok condition.
