Ivrei Teitch machzor, third section, for sukkot. Stamps of the first Admor, handwriting of hs son. Yehezkel Penet/Penetta was the Avdak of Desh and was known as the “Knesset Yehezkel” (1870-1930, Yitzhak Elfasi, HaChassidut, 1977, p. 166). One of the great sages of his generation in Hungary. Son of Rabbi Moshe Penet and grandson of Rabbi Menahem Mendel Penet, who both served in the rabbinate of Desh. When he reached the age of seven, his grandfather, who saw that he already understood the law of tefillin, ordered him to begin placing tefillin. He served in the rabbinate of Moroshoyber, and in 1903 he succeeded his father in Desh. His son, the Admor of Desh-Shatz in the United States, Rabbi Moshe Penet, son-in-law of the ADmor Rabbi Moshe Moskowitz of Shatz Chernovitz (died in 1970). Binding a little defective, missing the nine first pages, cover a little defective and partially restored unprofessionally, lone pages are disconnected, stains from time, generally ok to good condition.
