Gold pocket watch used by the Baba Sali (1889-1984), who was the son of Rabbi Massoud, rabbi of Tafilalt (Morocco), son of the Admor Rabbi Yaakov Abuhatzira. He was a brilliant gaon in the revealed and hidden Torah, holy and pure from a young age. He published writings of his grandfather, Rabbi Yaakov. Served as Chief Rabbi of Erfoud and its surrounding area. In 1950 he made Aliyah to Jerusalem, and in 1957 he returned to Morocco. In 1964 he returned to Israel. He settled in Netivot. Sages would come to his house to get advice and blessings, and he was known as a miracle worker in Israel. His grandsons are the famous Admors of the Abuhatzira dynasty. The watch is 5x7cm, approximately. The reverse side has a monogram inscription with two letters. The mechanism needs repair. The glass cover is missing. Cracks in the enamel. Missing the hands. Comes with a picture, and on the back is the handwritten approval from one of the senior members of the Abuhatzira family.
