Lot 118:
Brought to Israel after WWII by the Union of Romanian Communities by Rav David Moshe Rosen. He was the Kollel Rav of Dat Moshe and was crowned in the Coral Synagogue in Bucharest on 20 July, 1948 as part of his activity with the Zionist representatives. In 1964 they brought a number of sifrei Torah together with the Joint Committee and divided them among synagogues in Israel. This was donated by the Ministry for Religious Affairs and the Joint Committee in 1967. Nice writing, a little smudging in parts of the book, size 47.5cm, uniform and complete writing. Not sold as kosher!!
