Long letter from Rav Hirschprong sent to Rav Shmuel Aharon Pardes, a rabbi in Chicago, in which he describes the difficult economic circumstances of the eminent rebbetzin of the Hafetz Haim and her son Rabbi Aharon Kagan, later in the letter he expresses the mocking terms that people have used of her, and he mentions rumors that he heard from Rav Haim Ozer of Vilna and Rav Baruch beer Leibowitz, Rav Eliezer Silver on the upbringing of HaRav Aharon HaKohen Kagan, son of the Hafetz Haim. Letter with many personal and historical details. Written on official letterhead, on both sides, excellent condition.
