2 handwritten pages by the Gaon HaHareef. 1. Draft of an halakhic answer on the subject of a bill of sale and rent, on the other side are excerpts for recommendations and rhymes for the start of the answer, these were printed in his book “Sha’arei Rahamim.” They end with the words Yosef, Haim, Rahamim. 2. Small page, the opening to a letter. The Gaon RAv Haim Yosef Rahamim Franco, known as the Hareef, was a famous Gaon, lived 1835-1902, when he was 18 he was certified for the Rabbinate, in 1868 he moved to Israel and was accepted as a dayan in the Beit Din of Bracha with Rav Shalom Moshe Hai Gagin (HaSamach), he left as ambassador to a number of communities. Different conditions and sizes, signs of folding.
