Teaching certificate, written in ink, Akkadian script on a thick roll of paper. With engraving in the shape of a rainbow “to instruct Bnei Yisrael in all of the commandments that God gave us” Given to “Rav Avraham Shalosh son of the Rahag Yosef Shalosh.” In the margins is signed HaRav Salman Khugi Avodi, Av Beit Din of Jerusalem, a sage of Babel, one of the heads of the Beit Zilka yeshiva in Baghdad. Folded and written on in a portion of it. Excellent condition.
