Lot 415:
1. “Kos HaYeshu’ot” on masechtot seder nezikin, by the Gaon Rabbi Shmuel HaKohen Shotin, the Maharshashach. Frankfurt, 1711, first edition. Awful condition, much moth damage. Amongst the pages are 2 notes regarding policy in Ashkenazi handwriting from two different writers. 2. Questions and answers of Rabbeinu Meir ba’al HaPanim Me’irot, Zulzbach, 1733, first edition, pages loose, defects and wear. On the title page is handwritten “property of the famous naggid Shaul Ze’ev Weinstein.” Amongst the pages is a charcoal stamp “Shaul Zeev, Pinhas Segel of Kovna.” Amongst the pages are many long comments full of didactic content, glosses are slightly chopped. 3. “Psakei Halachot,” on halachot of Ishot, second section with the exegesis “Yad David,” Warsaw, 1901, first edition. Signatures of ownership of the Gaon HaRav Yosef Shlomo Zevin, on page 109 is a handwritten gloss signed in his initials.
