1. Masechet Brachot, Talmud Bavli, with mishnayot of Seder Zra’im, Vienna 1806, printed by Anton Shamid. On the title page are signatures and lists of the Deutsch family, “Meir Deutsch,” the “holy” Baruch Deutsch. On page 1 is a list of ownership cut in the upper margins, remaining from it is “The Tzaddik Avraham Deutsch, z”l.” 2. Tor Orech Haim, Vienna 1810, printed by Anton Shamid. Amongst the pages is a long and interesting gloss, handwritten, on the subject of women leaving the house with a wig, amongst the writing the author says that someone excommunicated women wearing wigs in public and finishes “those who value their souls should stay away from that” with a number of shorter glosses and corrections from the period of the book’s printing. 3. Masechtot Yevamot, Ketubot, Kiddushin from the Talmud Bavli, Vienna 1833. Amongst the pages are two comments on policy in Ashkenazi handwritings. Different conditions. Generally good condition. Pages loose. Wear on the binding.
