Lot 382:
1. “Beit David,” in two sections, an exegesis on the Six Sidrei Mishnah, by Rav David Korinaldi, Amsterdam 1739, first edition. On the page before the cover is the stamp of ownership of the Rav Meir Shapira, Av Beit Din and ram of Pietrekov.” Rav Meir Shapira (1887-1934) was Av Beit Din of Pietrekov and Lublin, head of the Khochmei Lublin yeshiva, institutor of the Daf Yomi and a great sage of his generation. At the start of the book are a number of signatures in Sefardi handwriting, and on page 55 are 2 notes in sefardi handwriting. 2 sections (missing the first cover), other than this in good condition. 2. “Ateret Yehoshua,” history of the Gaon “Pnei Yehoshua,” by Rav David Aryeh Leib Zintz, from Sanz. Bilgoriya 1936. At the start of the book is the stamp of ownership of “Ari Tzvi Pramer,” Av Beit Din of Koziglov. A sage of Poland before the Shoah, head of the Sokhochov and Khochmei Lublin yeshivot, composed the books “Eretz HaTzvi,” Q&A, and on the Pesach Haggadah. Different sizes.
