Lot 431:
Handwritten letter by the Hafetz Haim, Rabbi Yisrael Meir HaCohen of Radin, on his postal blanks, in Russian. In which he turned to Reb Yosef Stern on the subject of money that he received from Reb David Potash in American written for “the students of HaRav Cohen,” and he didn’t know if it was sent to the yeshiva directly or to others by the name of Cohen. At the end of the letter is a blessing and well-wishes by the Chafetz Haim to the Rav on supporting “our yeshiva.” Extremely rare letter, Russian-written official letters are never found. Written on card, 14cm.
