Lot 381:
Book of Job with exegesis by Rabbeinu B’Chayai. Rare. (1) 21 page (Winograd 1961). Title page has the signature of Gaon Ba’al ha Tshuva MeAhava, 1756-1826, one of the sages of his generation, student of the Nudah B’Yehuda, served from 1779-1783 as the Av Beit Din of Gutyan, from 1783 he was appointed the Dayan and Rabat of Prague, the city of his birth. His book of questions and answer “Tshuva MeAhava,” in 3 sections was published for generations. Nice copy in excellent condition.
