Zohar on the Torah, third section, Leviticus, with commentary of Mikdash Melech and Hadarat Melech from the Kabbalist Rabbi Shalom Bozaglo, Livorno 1856. Printed by Rav Moshe Tuvyana. This book was the personal copy from the library of the Rishon LeZiyyon. So it is written on the title page of the work. He lived from 1804-1893, crowned the Rishon LeZiyyon after the eath of Rabbi Avraham Ashkenazi in 1880, son-in-law was HaRav Haim Moshe Alisher. When he was 37 years old he was sent to Tunisia and Algeria. Known as a man of honor—during his visit to Tunis in 1863 there was a drought and a bad year, the rabbis of the place approached him that he would pray for rain. Before he finished his prayer the skies opened and much blessed rain fell, and it was a sign for the community. From this event his name became publicized. Nice copy in excellent condition, original binding. Thick, quality pages.
