Lot 335:
1. 3 notepads—calendars from 1933, 1936, 1937, amongst the pages are his holy handwriting, his notes. Three are in an old volume. 2. Picture of the Rav, size 23x33cm. Good condition. 3. Notice of mourning upon his death, 34x25cm, good condition, very light defects, stains. He lived from 1873-1967, was the Sandler HaKadosh of Yafo. He was a mystic and Kabbalist, in his youth was the student of the Lasham, after he moved to Israel in 1913, he settled in Yafo and opened a shoeshop. Even though he hid himself people came to him for advice and blessing. The elders and sages of his generation knew of his greatness, he began to be publicizied in Israel because of Rav Kook, who said to Rav Aryeh Levine that he was one of the 36 tzaddikim hidden in the generation, many stories of his wonders and discoveries were told of him. Many Jews visited him to be blessed in his presents.
