Lot 114:
On the inside cover page is the cursive signature “Tzermon.” On page 260 there are two glosses with a signature, the Metzitz (the young Masud Tzermon Yeshamrahu Tzur). He studied Torah dutifully and gave answers to halachic questions; his rulings regarding negotiation in halacha were included in a book by another member of his generation, HaGaon Rabbi Shlomo Zorapho in his book of questions and answers, Sha’ar Shlomo; he compiled the book “Gur Aryeh,” chiddushim on the Shas deep into different issues, chiddushim on the Rambam, printed in Livorno 1846. Died 1866. The copy is missing the beginning, there are defects, moth damage, wear. Old leather binding is loose and damaged, pages are loose.
