Sefer Vitebsk, “published by the Organization for Vitebsk and its Surroundings in Israel”, with many pictures. Tel Aviv 1957. [1], 507 pages.
Vitebsk was the city in which the well-known painter Marc Chagall resided. A painting of his appears on the title page and the binding. The opening has an emotional poem in Yiddish, a facsimile of the handwriting of Chagall, with Hebrew translation.
As far as we can tell this has never appeared at auction. Soft binding, good condition.
