Christian Kruik van Adrichem (1533-1585) was a Dutch cartographer and theologian. He was born in Delft (Netherlands) and immigrated to Germany. This book was published during a period of only the most basic research into the geography of the Land of Israel. It included a large map of Israel and smaller maps with diagrams describing the tribal division of Israel and the wars during Israel’s conquering of the land during the reign of Joshua, the cities of refuge and Levitical cities, the city of Jerusalem, the travels of the forefathers, and more.
