“describing the differences between the camps regarding customs of the shul, the new and old ones, on the placement of the bimah and the chuppah and reading the sefer torah and similar things…” by Rabbi Yisrael David ben Rabbi Mordechai Margaliyot Yafeh. The work is about the religious innovations supported by the Reform movement, who had the temerity to bring goyish customs into the synagogue. There is a strongly worded introduction by the author castigating them. In the work are various diagrams on engineering and architecture. First edition, published during the author’s lifetime. At the end of the book is a list of those who subscribed, and more (doesn’t appear in all copies). [1], 80, [3] pages. Binding partially detached, moth holes, stains, generally ok condition.
